Alfalfa pellets are a natural highly nutritious feed in a pelleted form. They supply 'slow releasing' energy in the form of highly digestible fibre, and provide good quality protein as well as a host of natural vitamins and minerals. Alfalfa is naturally low in sugar (water soluble carbohydrates) and Dengie Alfalfa Pellets, unlike many other cubes or mixes, are also unmolassed. In fact, they contain nothing but alfalfa which makes them ideal for horses and ponies that require a low sugar diet. They are ideal for feeding outdoors and are particularly beneficial for breeding stock as they supply highly bio-available calcium and good quality protein. Dengie Alfalfa Pellets allow poor quality forage to be upgraded, whilst providing a good quality and nutritious feed for horses and ponies at a competitive price. Delivery Information
We offer several delivery or collection options at the Shopping Basket stage of this website.
1: Collect From Store  Click & Collect (All our products are available for collection)
Using the Click & Collect option there is obviously no delivery charge, we will endeavour to have your order ready for collection on the day you specify subject to our usual opening hours. We are only open for Click & Collect orders on Saturdays.
Please only expect In Stock items to be Immediately available for collection. Our website will show you our current stock levels of each product.
Orders must be received at least 24hours prior to the anticipated collection time to ensure the goods are ready for dispatch.

Our Click & Collect  service will provide the customer with a fast drive-in style service; your pre ordered and paid for goods will be palletized by us and taken to your vehicle upon arrival at our store.
2: Local Delivery (We offer Local delivery on orders over £100.00. A delivery contribution of £5.00 will be added to all orders regardless of amount spent. )
Orders under £100.00 will be at our discretion to accept or not.
Our Local Delivery service is restricted to the postcode areas listed below.

We will endeavour to deliver your goods within 5 working days of receiving your order. (subject to stock availability)
If for any reason we cannot fulfil your delivery we will try to notify you and deliver as soon as possible thereafter.
Note: Our definition of "Delivery" under option 2 Local Delivery is that we will only carry goods a maximum of 3 metres from our delivery vehicle and stack no higher than waist height. Customers should also note that our delivery vehicle cannot leave a hard surface and should consider their storage arrangements in view of this.

Any unwanted items must be sent back at the customer's expense in original packaging and condition (I.e. labels intact).

If you are unhappy with the goods received we will refund them if they are sent back at the customer's expense in new resalable condition within 7 working days along with the original receipt.

We suggest for your own protection you use 1st class registered post.

It is your responsibility to obtain proof of postage as should a returned parcel become damaged or lost we do not compensate. You will be responsible for the cost of returning cancelled or unwanted goods.

Any refunds will be issued once we have received the goods, in their original unsoiled condition. This refund only includes the total of goods sent not the delivery charge.

We will not charge a restocking fee for returned items.

Any goods with manufacturing faults on arrival will be replaced or refunded.

This does not affect your statutory rights.
